هشتمين جشنواره «فيلمكس توكيو» امسال در حالي برگزار مي‌شود كه فيلم «بودا از شرم فرو ريخت» به كارگرداني «حنا مخملباف» تنها فيلم ايراني براي شركت در اين دوره از رقابت‌هاست.
هشتمين جشنواره فيلمكس توكيو از 17 نوامبر با نمايش فيلم «هركس سينماي خودش» به كارگرداني 33 كارگردان مشهور جهان از جمله «عباس كيارستمي»، «رمن پولانسكي»، «برادران كوهن» و «ونگ كار واي» افتتاح شد.
به گزارش ژاپن تايمز، در جشنواره امسال در مجموع سه فيلم با زيرنويس انگليسي و تمامي فيلم‌هاي غير ژاپني با زيرنويس ژاپني به نمايش درآمده است.
«كاناكو هاياشي»، دبير جشنواره فيلمكس گفت: هدف ما اين است كه بتوانيم از طريق فيلم با ديگر كشورها تبادل فرهنگي انجام دهيم، فيلم‌هاي امسال شامل فيلم‌هاي جديد اكران نشده، فيلم‌هاي كلاسيك و شاهكارهايي از سينماي ژاپن و ديگر كشورهاي جهان است.
به گزارش ژاپن تايمز، در جشنواره امسال با هدف به تصوير كشيدن آثار كارگردانان نوپاي آسيايي، 10 فيلم در بخش رقابتي اين دوره از جشنواره به نمايش درخواهد آمد كه در اين ميان تنها يك فيلم از ايران شركت كرده است كه البته آن نيز خود مهم است.
اين روزنامه ژاپني در ادامه مي‌افزايد: فيلم «بودا از شرم فرو ريخت» كه در باره جنگ افغانستان است، فيلم خوبي از «حنا مخملباف»، كارگردان 19 ساله ايراني است.
ديگر فيلم اين بخش از رقابت‌ها فيلم «طبل نوازان» با بازي «جيسي چان»، پسر «جكي چان» است، داستان اين فيلم درباره مرد جواني است كه از سختي‌هاي هنگ‌كنگ مي‌گيريزد و به تايوان رفته و در آنجا زندگي خود را مي‌گذراند.
همچنين فيلم‌هاي «اروس كمكم كن» به كارگرداني «لي گانگ شنگ» از تايوان، «سالهاي شگفت‌انگيز» از كره جنوبي و «آدم كم اراده» از فلسطين اشغالي از ديگر فيلم‌هاي اين بخش از رقابت‌ها هستند.
به گزارش ژاپن تايمز امسال در بخش اكران‌هاي ويژه نيز 11 فيلم به نمايش درخواهد آمد.

Tokyo Filmex announced the full line-up for its 8th edition (November 17-25) at a press conference held today at Tokyo 's National Film Center.
The opening film will be Cannes-produced short film omnibus To Each His Own Cinema. As previously announced, Lee Chang-dong's Secret Sunshine will be the closing film. Lee will also serve as the head of the competition jury.
Festival director Kanako Hayashi and programme director Shozo Ichiyama announced details of this year's 37 films. Ten competition films will vie for the Grand Prize of Y1m ($8,700).
The competing films are:
*Etgar Keret and Shira Geffen's Cannes Camera d'Or winner Jellyfish
*Raphael Nadjari's Tehilim
*Hana Makhmalbaf's Buddha Collapsed Out Of Shame
*Korean director Kim Hee-jung's debut The Wonder Years
*Chinese documentary Timber Gang directed by Yu Guangyi
*Eye In The Sky from Hong Kong 's Yau Nai-hoi
*Kenneth Bi's The Drummer starring Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan
*Lee Kang-sheng's Venice competition entry Help Me Eros
*The Kiss directed by Kunitoshi Manda (world premiere)
* and Izumi Takahashi's Musunde-Hiraite (world premiere)
Under Lee, the competition jury members are Cannes ' Christian Jeune, director Isao Yukisada (Crying Out Love, In The Center Of The World), cinematographer Yutaka Yamazaki (Nobody Knows) and Dorothee Wenner, head of the Berlin Film Festival's Talent Campus.
The 11-film 'Special Screenings' programme comprises the opening and closing films; two features and one short from China's Jia Zhang-ke, including recent Venice documentary winner Useless; Guy Maddin's Brand Upon The Brain!; Amos Gitai's Disengagement, starring Juliette Binoche; veteran Iranian director Dariush Mehrjui's latest film Santuri; Haitian title Eat, For This Is My Body, and Johnnie To's Exiled.
There will also be a digitally remastered screening of Hapkido starring Angela Mao, who is scheduled to attend.
The Special Jury Prize is sponsored by Kodak and awards the winning director Y200,000 along with Kodak film stock at a value of Y1m. Film-involved French fashion label agnès b sponsors the Audience Award.
The Special Programme features a 12-film English-subtitled retrospective of classic Japanese director Satsuo Yamamoto (A Band Of Assassins) and a four-film retrospective of pioneering Indian arthouse filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak.
Concurrent events include UniJapan-sponsored industry screenings of new Japanese films and a symposium entitled "The Future of Asian Films".
Tokyo Filmex is held in Tokyo 's Yurakucho and Kyobashi districts.
